Indo western outfit ideas.

Hey guys.
A draped side slit skirt with a beautiful zig-zag pattern in yellow and white. I have styled this really amazing side slit skirt with a basic shirt. I folded the sleeve to half its length. To make this look different I added these beautiful earings. Dropped the collar of the shirt a few inches. As for the hairstyle I chose to go for a high bun. Last but not the least added the heels.

One kurti two ways.

Hey guys.

I have styled a plain pink kurti in two ways.

For the first look I have paired the pink kurti with orange skirt and this beautiful duppatta.

Do you think orange and pink is weird combination?

For the second look I chose to pair this pink kurti with denim jeans and as accessory I added feather earings to it. These feather earings are basically the highlight of the whole look because it makes the whole look cool.

Which look is better?

How to style a suit for any occasion?

Hey guys.

I don’t know about anywhere else but in India suit is a go to outfit for any occasion whether it is wedding, Puja, or any festival. A suit will work really well.

I wore this dark red color suit for lunch. I paired it up with a white color duppatta with golden work on it. I added pink and red color pencil high heels.

Talking about accessories I added kundan jewellery to the look.

The suit have fine vertical lines which makes it simple yet special. The plazoo is also from the same material.

As for hairstyle I have straightened my hair.

So this is one of this most authentic Indian looks and also one of my favourites.

What do you think about this look?

How to style a kurta/kurti?

Hello everyone.

First of all, what is a kurta/kurti?

It is basically a long top with two symmetric side slits worn by both men and women. However the kurta for men and women have some different designs.

What I just told you is the basic theme of a kurta/kurti. However, not all kurta/kurti fits into that definition. The kurti that I am wearing in this post today is the most basic kind of kurti. Kurti comes in a lot of patterns that changes with a even the slightest change in things like the design of the sleeves, neckline of the kurti.

Kurta/kurti are worn by all age groups in India. Like, starting from the little kids to the grandfathers and grandmothers. The only thing that changes is the way they style them.

So, a kurta/kurti can be worn with different kind of bottoms like plazoo, pants, denim, skirt, dhoti and salwar.

Do you remember I told you what a salwar is?

If not then check out the post on the sangeet ceremony. The white color bottom with a little pattern on it is the salwar. Also, this is another way we can style a kurta/kurti.

So for today’s look I wore a green color krti with black color plazoo. The kurti I am wearing have vertical stripes and the green color is present in different shades. Plazoo looks stunning when wore over the heels. The best part is the choker. I just love that choker. This outfit would have been nothing without it.

So this is it.

A twist to Indian style.

Hey guys.

Most of you know that I a little biased when it comes to Indian fashion. However, I love fusion wears. Feeling connected to your roots and adding little flavour to the style I tried this look.

Styled an Indian skirt with a western top.

A skirt with most basic Indian work on cloth. Orange colors have really refreshing vibes in it or at least it has for me.

A off-shoulder ,criss-cross, laced up navy blue color top. I love the material of this top. It is really comfortable to wear and also stylish at the same time.

Adding the skirt and the top we have a perfect party attire but I added a little more Indian touch to it by adding this orange color duppatta.

This duppatta has really amazing work on both of it’s ends.

Lately I have been in love with Alia Bhatt’s style. So when it came to adding accessories I kind of copied her.

I added big earings. These earings are known as chandbalis.

I chose a totally different color for the earings because always matching the earings with the outfit is getting a little boring for me nowadays.

Share what you think about this look.

What do you like the most in this look?

My favourite are the earings. I love the color and the design both. Also these are not as heavy as they seem and also really comfortable to wear.

I hope you like this look.

Kundan jewellery.

Hey guys.

How are you all doing?

I have been doing posts on outfits a lot lately. This time I thought that the post should be little different.

Jewellery is one of the most essential part in Indian styling. Kundan jewellery has recently made its way into the most worn jewellery in India. Every celebrity wedding has been full of styling with kundan jewellery.

Also I shared this post in which I wore a purple color lehanga. I styled that lehanga with kundan jewellery.

Heavy earings with mangtika.

(For those who don’t know mangtika is a jewellery piece worn on the forehead. It is like a hairpin with a ornament hanging on one side.)

Nowadays it’s importance has increased as so many Indian fashion bloggers are trying to do something different with traditional Indian jewellery.

So many of them are now pairing traditional jewellery with western outfits. It looks amazing.

The rings looks really royal too.

I hope you enjoyed the post.

Share your views on any traditional jewellery.

Outfit for the wedding day.

Hey guys.

Being groom’s sister I really wanted to look amazing. The feelings are mutual for bride or groom’s siblings. The siblings are really excited for the wedding. So was I.

I decided it earlier that I will wear a lehanga. Dark color looks radiant. So I chose a dark purple color for my lehanga with a pink color duppatta.

I paired it up with kundan jewellery. I added bangles to my look.

Hairstyle: First Ridges were created of the hairs then a side-puff was made and in the end a beautiful bun completed the hairstyle.

I couldn’t resist a pic with a rose. 😊🌷

A background of flowers is the best spot to click a picture.

Share your views about the outfit. I would love to know what you think of this outfit. If you think that this could have looked better than this then share your ideas.

I also danced for a while.

So adding two pictures from the dance.

Thank you.

The traditional Navratri Outfit.

Hey guys.

I am here again with another post and this one includes a little bit of traditional point of view. So guys Navratri is here. Happy Navratri!!

For those who don’t know what Navratri is let’s get to know a little about Navratri.

Navratri as the name suggests is a festival that goes on continuously for nine days. Durga Puja is the main part of Navratri. People observe fast for these nine days.

So Durga Puja is a great moment to show off some style. Nothing is better than a traditional chaniya chill for this occasion. However, a modern twist can give plus points to your outfit.

The different factor in the outfit is it’s pattern. It’s a little more colourful than average outfits.

This outfits stands out in every possible way. The outfit itself conveys the whole story. The struggle, courage, and hope.

So if you visit India in the days of Navratri then don’t forget to wear a outfit like this. It feels really awesome to wear something that belongs to some other country. It’s different from our daily routine.

What do you think about trying on outfits that are worn in different countries?

If you are given a choice –

Outfit of which country will you try?

Thank you so much for previous time.

The Dhoti Saree.

Hey guys.

How are you??

This weekend I did a lot of shopping. So this time the look is Desi and I love Desi outfits.

There’s this song like this too.

Who’s the hottest girl in the world?

My desi girl

My desi girl.

😂😂

In this song my desi girl represents Priyanka Chopra.

This outfit is basically dhoti Saree which is the most trending outfit in Indian fashion nowadays. This Indian wear is my favourite nowadays. There is a similar outfit which pant Saree which is pant and half Saree. I love that one too.

This outfit is from a shop Globaldesi. As the name suggests the outfits are global desi.

I suggest this dhoti Saree to all those girls who don’t like Saree just because they don’t know how to wear it. Anyone who likes Saree look but don’t know how to wear it, dhoti Saree is the best option. It is graceful too.

This dress was in red color too but here in India that is the color best suited for bride. So I don’t want to wear red on someone else’s wedding. Black was better too.

This outfit looks best with silver jewellery. Large size earings and a silver necklace.

Best suggested hairstyle is a heavy braid.

Which one would you pick?

A. Saree

B. Dhoti Saree

OR BOTH.

Those who don’t belong to India I want to ask them.

What do you think of this Indian outfit (saree)?

Share your views.

Thank you.

🙂🙂🙂

Happy Raksha Bandhan !!

Hey guys…

I hope you guys are doing well.

All Indians know what Raksha Bandhan is.

For the rest:

Raksha Bandhan is a festival to celebrate the special bond that a brother and sister share.

It’s like saying thank you for being so awesome and making each others life more beautiful everyday.

Feelings of brother and sister are same when it comes to their views about each other. Which are like-

“We fight, we complaint about each other but we still the bond and concern remains the same. No matter how far we are, distance can never make us apart.”

How the celebrations go on?

All the siblings and cousins get together at this day. Then the sister tie a bracelet on the wrist of her brothers (including cousions) that is called RAKHI.

RAKHI was originally made up of threads but with time it has been replaced by gold and silver bracelets, but me and my family still use the Rakhi made up of threads.

Everyone eats sweets and then comes the gift giving moment. Basically the brother used to give gift to sister but with time now both brother and sister give each other gifts.

Then the whole day is fun day.😁

Raksha Bandhan: Brother is supposed to protect his sister but as today’s women doesn’t need that much protection, this festivals is a symbol of the cute bond of brother and sister.

So this day all the sisters and brothers flaunt your style with an amazing RAKHI on your wrist.

Let it be simple and elegant yet sassy.

HAPPY RAKSHABANDHAN!!

Mention the name of your siblings or cousins with whom you will lobe to celebrate this Rakshabandhan.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this post.
