Hey guys.
I am here again with another post and this one includes a little bit of traditional point of view. So guys Navratri is here. Happy Navratri!!
For those who don’t know what Navratri is let’s get to know a little about Navratri.
Navratri as the name suggests is a festival that goes on continuously for nine days. Durga Puja is the main part of Navratri. People observe fast for these nine days.
So Durga Puja is a great moment to show off some style. Nothing is better than a traditional chaniya chill for this occasion. However, a modern twist can give plus points to your outfit.
The different factor in the outfit is it’s pattern. It’s a little more colourful than average outfits.
This outfits stands out in every possible way. The outfit itself conveys the whole story. The struggle, courage, and hope.
So if you visit India in the days of Navratri then don’t forget to wear a outfit like this. It feels really awesome to wear something that belongs to some other country. It’s different from our daily routine.
What do you think about trying on outfits that are worn in different countries?
If you are given a choice –
Outfit of which country will you try?
Share your views.
Thank you so much for previous time.

Do Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma all participate equally??

I am not sure about that.
It mainly belongs to Durga maa. I think Vishnu participate more in this one because the day when Navratri ends we celebrate Dusherra which belongs to Vishnu. Vishnu took the avatar of Ram and killed Ravan.
So I think Vishnu participates more.

Will try. I read it a few months ago and am now going over it a bit more thoroughly. My doctor who taught me to meditate lived with Maharishi some time ago. I have a fair bit of post traumatic stress so meditation is fantastic.

Yeah many people say that meditation is really helpful.
I can never do that however. I have tried a few times but fail to concentrate.
It is nice to know that it helped you.

I do it twice daily. I went through a bit a while ago and it has given me cause and opportunity to step back let life flow around me. I am fairly peaceful within having survived a few not so peaceful things. I tend to see why things happen and the pains that others must go through. My pain and loss has only brought compassion. Anything else would be a true tragedy.
Keep being good to your siblings and enjoy what you pursue in life ππ

Happy Navratri… π
I was fortunate to have spent a few weeks in India during the 90s. I wore, most days, a sari, which I absolutely loved.
I adore the colours of the traditional Navratri outfit; an absolute delight.. π

Happy Navratri!!
Which place have you visited in India?
How was your experience?
For travellers wearing Saree for most of the time is a little uncomfortable. How did you managed that?
I am glad that you like these outfits.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing your experience.ππ

I travelled to Mumbai in 1995, then on to Sathya Sai Baba’s ashram in Bangalore where I spent a couple of wonderful weeks.
In the ashram some lovely Sri Lankan ladies saw that I was having trouble wearing the Saree and took the time to show me how to do this… They were so wonderful…
I bought four Saree plus blouses, and never felt so comfortable as I did wearing these delightful clothes. I was also given a Saree by someone I befriended.
I have very happy memories of all the moments spent in India. I would go back in a flash… π π
